Refrigerated Freight

A reefer load has one failure mode that matters: the temperature drifts and the receiver rejects the whole trailer. Everything we do on this mode is built to make that not happen — precooled trailers, verified set points, continuous run where the commodity needs it, and a temperature download attached to the POD.

We carry FSMA-compliant carriers only, and we ask for the washout certificate rather than assuming it exists.

Why shippers use us for this

Temperature proof, not promises

Every load comes back with a downloadable temperature record covering the whole transit.

Precool as standard

The trailer is brought to your set point before it arrives, not after your product is already inside it.

FSMA-compliant carriers only

Sanitary transport rules, washout certificates and driver training verified before dispatch.

How it works

Four steps, start to POD.

1

Tell us the commodity and temperature

Set point, whether it runs continuous or cycle, and any precool requirement.

2

We match the right carrier

Not every reefer carrier handles pharma or fresh produce. We route it to one that does.

3

Precool and load

Trailer arrives at temperature with a clean washout certificate.

4

Deliver with the record

Temperature download and signed POD together, so a claim never turns into an argument.

Refrigerated rate request

Tell us about the load.

This form asks for refrigerated-specific detail. Every mode prices on different inputs, so this is not a generic contact form — the questions below are the ones that actually change your rate.

Straight answers

REEF questions.

What is the difference between continuous and cycle mode?
Continuous runs the reefer unit constantly and holds a tighter temperature band — required for most fresh produce and pharma. Cycle mode runs the unit only when the temperature drifts, which saves fuel and suits frozen freight that has thermal mass on its side.
Do you handle pharmaceutical freight?
Yes, on validated equipment with continuous monitoring and, where required, a qualified courier. Pharma loads need lead time — please do not send them same-day.
What happens if the temperature goes out of range?
The recorder shows it, we know before the receiver does, and we work the claim with the carrier's cargo insurer. This is exactly why the download matters.
