Power Only Trucking

If you already own trailers, you do not need to pay for someone else's. Power only supplies the tractor and the driver, hooks to your equipment, and moves it — whether that is a single relocation or a recurring drop-and-hook programme between your plant and your DC.

The only thing we insist on is that the trailer is roadworthy. A driver who arrives to find bald tyres and a dead marker light is not going anywhere, and that inspection failure is on the trailer owner.

Why shippers use us for this

Your trailer stays in your network

No trailer rental, no pool fees, no equipment you do not control.

Flex capacity without hiring

Cover a seasonal peak or a driver shortage without adding headcount.

Drop-and-hook that actually flows

Pre-loaded trailers spotted and pulled on a schedule, so nobody is waiting at a dock.

How it works

Four steps, start to POD.

1

Tell us the trailer

Type, location, whether it is loaded, and whether it is DOT ready.

2

We assign a tractor

Qualified driver with the right endorsements and current insurance.

3

Hook and pre-trip

Driver inspects the trailer before pulling. Defects get reported, not driven.

4

Move and release

Delivered and dropped, or live unloaded, per your instructions.

Power Only rate request

Tell us about the load.

This form asks for power only-specific detail. Every mode prices on different inputs, so this is not a generic contact form — the questions below are the ones that actually change your rate.

03 Programme type
How often?
Committed volume gets materially better pricing
04 Who should we send the rate to?

Our freight team reviews and prices every request. Median first reply is 41 minutes in business hours.

Straight answers

PWRO questions.

Who is responsible if my trailer fails a roadside inspection?
The trailer owner. Our driver performs a pre-trip and will refuse anything unsafe, but the maintenance obligation and any resulting violation sit with whoever owns the equipment.
Do you carry insurance on freight in my trailer?
Yes. The carrier's cargo policy covers the freight while it is under our power. Tell us the load value so we can match cover appropriately.
Can you run a recurring drop-and-hook programme?
That is the most common use of this service. Give us the schedule and volume and we will dedicate equipment to it, which is materially cheaper than pricing each move individually.
